Since the U2.02 patch, players can modify the default skins for the moth, whether it is a Silver-Y, a Moon Moth, a Neo-Tiger, a Hawk, a Death’s Head, a Police L2000, or a Swallow. One of the best ways to immerse yourself in the game is to find that special skin that fits your personality, taste, and character storyline (or, how you imagine your Hardwar character’s reputation in MisOp).
In my opinion, the best place to look for Moth Skins is Captain Kronos’ Downtown Paintshop. It’s named a shop but the skins are free. The site is almost entirely dedicated to skins, boasting of great web design and even greater moth skins. In fact, my Neo-Tiger (shown above on the site header) uses the Japanese skin by Cap’n Kronos. I’m not Jap, but I’m a stickler for red.
